About to take delivery on a used 2010 Back Bay 16, and wonder if folks run their boats with the tops on? In the PNW, we only get so much sun a year, so be nice to take the entire top off (surrey/windows, stainless rigging) and store for a few months. Anybody do this? None of the pictures I've seen online show a boat with the top completely off.

Here in coastal South Carolina, I'm aware of several Duffy boats running without top or windows. It's certainly possible.
For me, I prefer the top for shade, and the window enclosure helps keep the boat a lot cleaner inside. But, to each, his own!
