Thinking about taking our 21’ duffy from Alamitos out around Seal Beach pier to Huntington Harbor or over to Maya near the Queen Mary. Has anyone had experience outside of the protected bay? Your opinions are welcomed.

Was outside the Alamitos Bay and into open harbor yesterday morning. Went to first oil island and returned to bay without issue. 96 18’ Catamaran 36 volt; weather was perfect with a glass sea and little swell movement.
